Update
Carolin has many friends who are helping with food, their time or good wishes. It is a tribute to the care they all take that Carolin has not caught any colds despite the high traffic. Everyone is careful.
We've got a special bed on the main floor that makes things a little easier. The wheel chair is necessary if going more than a few feet. Carolin is awake for 6 hours a day (+/-) and tired of taking pills. Nothing we can do about that.

Thank you for giving us a little update on Carolin. I'm sure none of us can imagine how tired Carolin is of medication. You are all always in our thoughts and prayers. Rebecca

With over 20,000 hits on this blog site, I can't even imagine the "hugeness" of caring and love that is directed toward Carolin and your family. Thankyou for sharing and know that you definitely not alone.

Thank you so much Sandy for the update. I know you have many things on your mind right now and the blog may be the last thing on your mind but we have followed Carolin for so long with this that we appreciate knowing how things are going but haven't wanted to interfere. Please give our love to Carolin and know that your family is in our prayers that you may be comforted and know that the Lord is in charge and that our time here is but a small moment of our time together. We still have eternity together.

Hi Carolin, Sandy & Jessica
Just want you to know...
I am teaching (subbing) 3-4 days/ week in NW Calgary Catholic schools. I was in grade 1 at St Brigid yesterday (maybe next time in Jessica's class...) and Grade 9 at St. Vincent today... Ash Wednesday, a day of some quiet prayer, even for young children & teenagers.
I've always encouraged contemplative prayer for students of all ages, even for just a few minutes. I invite students to think of those who really need their prayers and hold them in their mind for a time. I mention my friend who has been in such a battle with cancer. Although they do not know you ... I truly hope & believe that the sincere prayers of these young people will help to provide comfort and peace to your family.
Love Joanne
